What is a birthday email?
We all know for a fact that birthdays can be fun to celebrate. They are like our holidays, which we celebrate once a year.
If you’re in the credit repair business, you should know the importance of sending automated birthday emails to your customers. Unfortunately, many business owners overlook the importance of it. Celebrating business by sending an automated birthday message to your customer is one of the easiest and most effective ways to boost customer engagement.
A happy birthday email is an automated marketing email sent out on your customer’s birthday. Receiving an email on their special day will give them the impression that you care about them. Of course, this type of email will help your business increase customer retention.
For this type of marketing automation email, you need to know the birth dates of your customers, and it will be hard for you to memorize all of them, especially if you have hundreds or thousands of them. Credit repair software for businesses has this automated birthday email feature wherein you don’t have to remember all your customers’ birthdays. You can add their birthday information to the software, and a birthday email will automatically be sent on your customer’s special day.
To access the happy birthday email in the software, go to the company tab.
Then under company, go to manage emails.
Under the manage emails screen, you will see the happy birthday email.
Note: This feature allows you to automatically send your customers Happy Birthday emails based on their date of birth.
In this section, you’ll see the default automated happy birthday email.
Click the pencil icon if you want to edit the happy birthday email.
Click the eye icon if you want to preview the happy birthday email.
The automated happy birthday email only works for active customers in the software. If some of your customers are in no-portal, lead, canceled, inactive, etc., status, they are not eligible for the happy birthday email. That is why it is important to make sure that your customer is in “active status” if you want him to be a recipient of the automated happy birthday email.
Over here, you’ll see all your active customers who will receive the happy birthday email.
But if some customers don’t want to receive a birthday email, you can just turn off the happy birthday email by clicking the on/off button
As we mentioned earlier, birthday emails benefit the business and the customer. It will also increase customer retention and lead to word-of-mouth marketing and referrals, resulting in increased sales for the company.
